Agriculture is an important focus of bilateral cooperation. Russian grain accounts for a considerable part of the agricultural trade. Currently, Russia is one of the world's largest exporter of wheat. Dmitry Patrushev noted that the country considers Algeria to be one of the most promising markets.
Industrial cooperation was also a topic of discussion.
